And there are millions of people here and around the world suffering oppression and injustice. Police brutality is most often directed at people of color, I DO NOT dispute that. But it happens everywhere to everyone of every race, color and creed.
These people are armed, in high stress situations too often and they get sick of it, they snap, or they were just batshit to begin with. Every fucking one of them abuses their power. What are you gonna do when you've got a gun to your head? It doesn't have to be just that. Look at the Sandra Bland incident. A traffic stop turns her into a corpse. Suicide or no, there's something wrong there. I've been stopped a lot, I like going fast. I've had nice cops that just handle it, I've been frisked and felt up by perverts. The last time I overdosed, they showed up and searched my room for heroin to charge me with. They didn't find anything, but that's nice. If you live, it's the klink, bitch!

fact is, at least half of all police brutality victims are white, and when you say #blacklivesmatter, you basically spit in the face of every white person who has suffered as a result of police violence.
What I do think is that it's an effort to stop the amount of excessive force used on marginalized populations. The movement began as a result of widely publicized (for good reason) aggravated assaults on various individuals. I concur that caucasians are also victims of this sort of brutality. We had a poor deaf man in our own city who was caucasian and was shot to death for not dropping his whittling knife when told to. Despite being DEAF. And everyone knew he was harmless. What I will say is that the movement is called Black Lives Matter, but what it should really say is All Lives Matter. Humans are not perfect, and sometimes it takes a while for us to get things right. I'm in favor of it so long as it does at least something to drop the level of police brutality. Maybe then we can work on the rest of it. Social progress always seems to be incredibly slow, but even a little bit helps.
